IMO….The best burger in town

I am a huge burger guy. Hamburgers are one of my favorite go-to meals. I’ve tried over a dozen burgers locally, everywhere from Shake Shack to Little Barn to Grey Goose to Artisan. My number one burger is Match Burger Lobster. Chef Matt Storch, the owner of the Sono Match Restaurant opened Match Burger Lobster in 2017.  It can be described as a fast casual concept and “a fun casual elevated CT road shack. The delicious Match burger and lobster roll come together on a whimsical menu”.

The meat is locally sourced, pasture-raised and humanely handled.  It is from Provisions on State.  All of their shellfish is also locally sourced and they partner with The Bloom Family of Copps Island Oysters.  Match serves both regular sized burgers and smaller Match Mini’s as well as foot long Local Pork Hot Dogs (which happen to also be phenomenal).  They offer gluten free buns made in a gluten free slider (great for those with Celiac).  They offer many flavors of french fries including truffle fries, herbs and garlic fries and buttery lobster truffle fries!  

The burgers are absolutely perfect.  I can always tell how fresh the meat is.  The consistency of the burger combined with the flavor is out of this world. The melding of the mouthwatering bacon, superbly melted cheddar cheese mingled with the crunch of lettuce is absolutely outstanding!

Come on down and try a burger.  There is no match for Match!
